Silverado Senior Living in Naperville, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, is a new Assisted Living Community that was designed to accommodate 90 residents affected by conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other dementia-related illnesses.
At 45,000 square feet, it’s a single story building that’s purposefully residential in design. Outside details include wood mixed with masonry. Inside double doors lead to outdoor spaces and multiple windows bring in lots of natural light.
The builders were The Hankin Group, and they were looking for both low maintenance and luxury. So, they asked Viwinco and Deceuninck to suggest dramatic windows with no installation drama.
